Crammerock 2014, report day 1.

We entered the festival with the end of Coely. Unfortunately, cause of a long-awaited time at the day parking lot, we only could hear the latest sounds and the overwhelming applause after the performance.
Time had arrived for a meal and afterwards we went to see Arches, or the project of Jochen (Stereo Express) and Seba (Moonlight Matter). Arches chose house with a commercial feel wherein their single ‘There’s A Place’ was the highlight. Arsenal built their performance slow and ‘Furu’-istic towards their hits such as ‘Black Mountain’ and ‘Saudade’ but honestly, we were missing the song ‘Mr. Doorman’. Lauryn Hill brought her typical soulful r’n ‘ b but we also went to the club tent which exploded with the EDM bombs played by Wolfpack. Watermät chose deep house, tech house and on the tones of Lauren Hill’s ‘Killing Me Softly With His Song’ we finished the first day on Crammerock. (JL)
