Defected presenteert House Masters Frankie Knuckles

Op 26 april zal de compilatie House Masters Frankie Knuckles uitgebracht worden op Defected.

Frankie Knuckles, één van de Chicago house muziek legendes, was vol passie een compilatie aan het samenstellen voor Defected. Het droevige nieuws van zijn overlijden op 31 maart 2014 schokte de hele muziekwereld. Deze ‘House Masters Frankie Knuckles’ compilatie kwam in een pauze terecht. Maar met de opstart van de Frankie Knuckles Fund, een samenwerking met de Elton John Aids Foundation, zal deze compilatie uitgebracht worden op 26 april. Alle inkomsten van deze compilatie zal geschonken worden aan het goede doel. Deze compilatie bevat de beste disco, old skool house, rework van de grootmeester en natuurlijk ‘The Whistle Song’. Een ‘must have’ compilatie voor elke house muziek liefhebber. (JL)

Defected presents House Masters Frankie Knuckles

The compilation, House Masters Frankie Knuckles, will be released on the 26^th April on Defected.

Frankie Knuckles, one of the Chicago house music legends, was passionately preparing a compilation for Defected. The sad news of his passing on the 31^st March 2014 shocked the entire music world. The forthcoming ‘House Masters Frankie Knuckles’ was duly paused. With the creation of the Frankie Knuckles Fund, a partnership with the Elton John Aids Foundation, this compilation will be released on the 26^th April. All profits of this compilation will be donated to the charity. This compilation includes the best disco, old skool house, rework of the Grand Master and of course ‘The Whistle Song’. A ‘must have’ compilation for each house music lover. (JL)
