Extrema Outdoor Belgium has ended, what follows is a first report from Saturday 7th June.
We arrived early, and by recommendations from a colleague, we went immediately towards the Defected stage where we started on the relaxing house beats from Belgian artists Delafino, DJ Licious and Joeri of La Rocca. Next on the menu was the opening of the respectful network manager of Studio Brussel, Jan Van Biesen on the mainstage who chose for deep house and electro influences. We visited the cosy Desperados square with the sounds of The Whatevers but went quickly to the Diynamic Music stage for Karmon. Meanwhile, the heat wave was in full force making our dance steps getting us sweat drops all over and was the free water, offered by Quality Nights, a gift from heaven.
We were back at the Defected stage just in time for the last tracks of Nick Curly, where afterwards labelmanager, Simon Dunmore, started the party. We ended our visit to the Extrema Outdoor festival with Solomun who chose underground house which made the atmosphere completely erupted. What we remember especially is the beautiful location, the heat, and the warm house music at the Defected In The House stage. (TE)
