The sublabel of Ghent based NEWS, Shomi Records, presents the single I Hear You Calling of DJ Licious today.
The original track, Calling, was already released and became a radio- and TV hit. Releasing a vocal version was an absolutely must. Licious uses the voice of Yolanda Quartey, known from Massive Attack and Duke Dumont, to give the hit extra strength. The original track remains but is brightened up by the blessed voice of Yolanda and strings. A true summer tune that will be heard on many festivals this year. This single is also worldwide distributed by Shomi/Positiva/EMI/Virgin, starting first in the UK. This release will probably ensure an international breakthrough for the popular DJ of Antwerp. (JL)
