The beautiful story of the Ghent based Decadance club will be ending in style.
Numerous resident DJ’s have been giving a chance to develop their talent in the Decadance club (Ghent, Belgium) since 1996. In the early 90’s days artists Fat, Josh Lasden, Moody, Jens Holmes, Jan Van Biesen, Ithai, Sam shaped the club musically and later on DJ’s such as Seba Lecompte, TLP, Yamo, Jack, One87, Pete Howl, Maxim Lany, Jensen, Trixy, Lebawski en Man Outta Space let the club grew towards a consistent in the Belgium electronic music world.
The list of international artists who played in Decadance is long, but we like to give you a small idea with Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Djuma Soundsystem, Joris Voorn, Charles Webster, Mandy, Mr C, Green Velvet, Ida Engberg, Kenny Larkin, Josh Wink, Solomun, Eddie Richards, King Britt, Nina Kraviz, Nathan Coles, Nils Hess, Magda, Roy Davis Jr., Fabrice Lig, Charlotte de Witte and many many more.
The brothers De Kegel (being Bart, Yves and Jan) and also Anneke (Van De Vijver) are ending this musical adventure after 22 years.
The announcement of the closing, on the Facebook page of Decadance, got immediately lots of responses with as result that the club decided to organize an official closing weekend.
Without any doubt, this will be a “not to miss” event for all fans of Decadance and electronic music.
