Report Club Soda Festival 2014.
We went to Avelgem and visit the Club Soda Festival. A long line was waiting at the entrance, but luckily we saw just the end of Arches. Unfortunately, the duo had to play for a rather small audience but change came when Wankelmut started and the room was quickly packed. He chose to play strong and firmer tracks than his productions are suspecting as it evolved fast towards tech house. Resident of club Decadance, Pete Howl, just went a step further and combined tech house with, let’s say, ‘light’ techno. The festival is cozy, with friendly staff in a beautiful building. We would like to come back next year. (FL)
