Day 3 on Rock Werchter 2015, Saturday the 27th June.
Sun, smiling faces, a wonderful day at Rock Werchter. We came in when The War On Drugs was just playing their beautiful song ‘Under The Pressure’, a good start for day 3. Oasis-man, Noel Gallagher let everyone wait until the very last song to go back in time with ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’. But thé performance of the day came from rock legend Lenny Kravitz, which brought an excellent set packed with hits such as ‘Fly Away’, ‘I Belong To You’, came into the public with ‘Let Love Rule’ and finished on the tones of ‘Are You Gonna Go My Way’. Lenny ruled Rock Werchter on day 3. The night ended with electronic music of The Prodigy bringing their their characteristic mix of breaks and drum ‘n’ bass. Many rock fans chose to leave the festival area but this was unfairly because a song such as ‘Firestarter’ was a dynamic end. After 3 days at Rock Werchter we thank Herman Schueremans, the organization, all employees and Studio Brussels for a fine festival. Today is the last day of Rock Werchter with acts such as Die Antwoord, Muse, Maxi Jazz and one of our editors who will be present. (JL)
