The 4th and last on Rock Werchter.
Being checked-in by Studio Brussel-radiohost, Siska Schoeters, has something special. Heartily and with a friendly, cheerful laugh. We started with the last tracks of Rudimental. Their mix of drum ‘n’ bass, hip hop and r’n b got us immediately in the right mood. Next up was rain and mud during Bastille, not the best way to start their concert. So, we went to Foals in Klub C and heard their hit, ‘My Number’, the concert was tasty and favored by the audience next to their hit. The countdown towards Kings Of Leon could start, who gave their fans an excellent set. The man of the evening, is our compatriot, Stromae. The complete festival area sang effortlessly all songs and with ‘Alors On Danse’ and ‘Formidable’ a certain warm consensus could be felt. A beautiful end of Rock Werchter 2014. (JL)
