20 Jaar 10 Days Off - De Laatste Wals

De allerlaatste en ook de 20^ste editie van het festival, 10 Days Off, werd in april aangekondigd.

Onder de noemer “The Last Waltz” of De Laatste Wals zal 10 Days Off tijdens de jaarlijkse Gentse Feesten doorgaan. De hoogmis voor elektronische muziek in België, die een legendarische status heeft en waarbij heel wat sterren door de jaren heen te gast waren, gaat van start op donderdag 17 juli. Op zondag 27 juli wordt dan de laatste avond verwacht. Artiesten waren steeds laaiend enthousiast na hun optreden door het specifieke karakter van deze 10 dagen maar ook door het publiek die meestal in de Gentse feestvreugde meedelen. Naast vernieuwing in de elektronische muziek wist organisator, Philip de Liser, in het begin samen met Eric Smout (Democrazy) en Rudy Victor Ackaert, de grootste sterren uit de elektroninsche muziek te inviteren. De lijst is enorm en op zijn minst indrukwekkend.

Voor de laatste editie werden volgende namen reeds aangekondigd: Richie Hawtin, Solomun, Dave Clarcke, Erol Alkan, Tale Of Us, Daniel Avery, Mano Le Tough, Whyt Noyz, Matador, Ghost Culture, Mind Against, Perc, Karmon, Black Asteroid en H.O.S.H..

10 Days Off is ook een Quality Nights-evenement. EM Magazine zal aanwezig zijn om een dagelijkse recensie te verzorgen van de allerlaatste editie, 10 Days Off, te Gent. (JL)

20 Years 10 Days Off - The Last Waltz

20 Years 10 Days Off and also the very last edition was announced in April this year.

Under the heading, “The Last Waltz”, 10 Days Off will take place during the annual Ghent Festivities. The annual hight mass for electronic music in Belgium, having a legendary status and where many world stars were guests over the years, will kicks off on Thursday 17^th July. The last night is expected on Sunday 27^th July. Artist being, always, wildly enthusiastic after their performance, by specificity of these 10 days but also through the public who are sharing the celebrations in Ghent City. In addition to an innovative view on electronic music, organizer Philip de Liser, in the beginning together with Eric Smout (Democrazy) and Rudy Victor Ackaert, invited the biggest stars. The list is huge and at least to say very impressive.
