News (Ghent) and DJ Licious (Antwerp) are presenting the music label Shomi Records.
One of the best house DJ’s, DJ Licious, and the largest electronic music label company, News, from our country are presenting Shomi Records. Shomi is the party concept of DJ Licious, started in Stereo Sushi but having a homebase now at La Rocca, and News found each other to giving house music a huge boost in our country again. As result, there’s a wonderful collaboration between the cities of Ghent and Antwerp. The concept to link a party concept to its own music label isn’t new, but this combination is at least a bull’s-eye. The 1st single presented is a track coming from the label manager himself, Licious, or ‘Calling’, putting immediately a stamp on the international electronic music scene. This release reached the N° 1 in the hot list of iTunes, is supported by Pete Tong and is also featured in the A playlist of Studio Brussels, Topradio, airplay on radios as Qmusic, MNM and international radios such as BBC Radio 1.
The 2 nd the release is the track ‘Got To Dance’ of Daniel Bovie, and this title is just ideal for the label.
